Mais Diferenças was founded in 2005 by a group of activists with and without disabilities from different areas and work trajectories. It is an association qualified as a Civil Society Organization of Public Interest (OSCIP) by the Ministry of Justice and as a Human Rights Promoting Entity by the Secretary of Justice of the State of São Paulo.
