The Zero Project regionalizes its activities to important world regions outside Europe, with the goal of building bridges between the global disability inclusion community and regional innovation ecosystems. In 2023, the Zero Project joined forces with SG Enable, the focal agency for disability and inclusion in Singapore, to advance disability inclusion in Singapore and in the Asia Pacific through sustainable and innovative solutions.

SG Enable hosted the second Zero Project Asia Pacific Symposium under the theme “Powering Accessibility Innovation.” More than 150 global thought leaders, social entrepreneurs, government representatives, DPOs, NGOs and businesses exchanged good practices on digital accessibility, cross-border collaboration, accessible tourism and inclusive spaces.

Inclusive Tech Forum Southeast Asia 2025

On 19 September 2025, the inaugural Inclusive Tech Forum Southeast Asia took place at Microsoft Singapore, hosted by UnExcluded. Close to 100 participants and 15 pioneering innovators — from AI sign language translation and robotic guide dogs to inclusive VR learning — demonstrated how assistive and inclusive technologies can empower persons with disabilities and attract investment to the region.

    Zero Project Asia Pacific Symposium 2024

    The inaugural Zero Project Asia Pacific Symposium was hosted by SG Enable, Singapore's focal agency for disability and inclusion, in November 2024.

    Over two days, this symposium focused on sharing innovative solutions and fostering connections between the global Zero Project Network and regional innovators and stakeholders.
