Zero Project Ibero-America
Breaking down barriers across Ibero-America

Zero Project Latin America is now “Zero Project Ibero-America”
The regional chapter's name has been changed to reflect the Zero Project's and Fundación Descúbreme's commitment to removing barriers across all corners of the regional Zero Project Network, including Portuguese-speaking communities in South America and Europe. The Zero Project's mission, programmes, and activities remain unchanged.
This adjustment is a step toward ensuring that the Zero Project's work is accessible to all communities in the Ibero-American region, which is home to 22 countries and nearly 700 million people. Approximately 455 million in the region speak Spanish as their mother tongue, while around 200 million speak Portuguese.
Given the region’s lower levels of English proficiency, expanding language support to include both Spanish and Portuguese enhances accessibility, supporting the Zero Project's mission reach even further.
