Together with global partners, the Zero Project will contribute to a series of events at the 19th session of the Conference of State Parties to the UN CRPD, focusing on advancing the rights of persons with disabilities worldwide.

The Forbes Accessibility 200 highlights the biggest innovators and impact-makers in accessibility and the Zero Project has served on the advisory board over the past few months, supporting the initiative by providing feedback and identifying candidates from around the world.

The Zero Project, in collaboration with Hilfsgemeinschaft, is pleased to host the session “Deep Dive Digital Accessibility” during the WSA Global Congress 2026 in Vienna.

AT4D, Tech Mahindra Foundation, and UnExcluded join forces with the Essl Foundation to expand the Zero Project Technology Forum to Africa, India, and the Asia Pacific.

Anna Königseder and Robin Tim Weis will take over as Executive Directors; Michael Fembek transitions to President Zero Project International.

The Zero Project is a global, research-driven initiative to advance the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Over the past decade, the Zero Project has identified and awarded more than 1,000 innovative solutions worldwide, while also building a global network of over 10,000 practitioners, policymakers, corporates, academics, and self-representatives with and without disabilities.
