Dr. Abeer is responsible for the utilization of ICT for development with a Ph.D. in Engineering, a M.Sc. in Computer Science (University of Nottingham, UK) and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (Cairo University). She is an advisor to Scientific and Innovation at Misr Elkheir Foundation, previously worked at the Planning and Monitoring Manager at the Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF), and as executive director for the center for future studies at the Cabinet of Minister’s Information and Decision Support Center. She participated in several projects including Competitiveness Strategy for Egypt 2030, author of the "Innovation Chapter, Technical assistance for the Planning and Execution of the EU-Egypt Innovation Fund, with national and intern.
