Sirinart Tongsiri is a physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) doctor. Tongsiri’s main interest is in the development of function-based data to address needs of persons with disabilities (PWDs). Tongsiri has been using the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) classification system and codes since 2010. Through research, Tongsiri realized that by using ICF codes and qualifiers to collect data of PWDs living in community, the data can raise awareness among providers both from hospitals and local governments to focus more on providing holistic care for PWD.
