Nawaf KABBARA

President of FOH at Forum of the Handicapped

Nawaf Kabbara is an expert political science and international affairs university professor. He founded in 1986 the Forum of the Handicapped Association and in 1987 the national association for the Rights of PWDs in Lebanon. In 1998, he participated in the foundation of the Arab Organization of PWDs and presided over the organization until 2008. In 1996, he was the first person with disability to run for the parliamentary elections in the country. He became the third vice chair of the International Disability Alliance from 2012 to 2014.
