Ka Yiu CHENG

Ka Yiu graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004, majoring in systems engineering and engineering management. After graduation, Ka Yiu joined the Centre for Sign Linguistics and Deaf Studies as an assistant computer officer, and is responsible for developing the Asian SignBank for documenting Asian sign language data. Ka Yiu is also an instructor on the Asia-Pacific Sign Linguistics Research and Training Programme (APSL), teaching basic computer skills and desktop publishing skills to Deaf adults from different Asian countries.
