Murteza is the Co-Chairman of the Executive Committee of Bangladesh Business & Disability Network, which is a network of employers formed in collaboration with disability organizations, NGOs and development partners, with a purpose of creating a more disability inclusive workforce in Bangladesh. He is also a Project Director at A.K.Khan Foundation through which he established A.K.Khan-CRP Chittagong Centre, which provides rehabilitative therapy services, orthosis, prosthesis, vocational training and job placements for people with disabilities in Chittagong, Bangladesh.
