The Zero Project Ibero-America Conference 2025: Celebrating Inclusive Employment in Santiago de Chile

The Zero Project Ibero-America Conference 2025, organized by Fundación Descúbreme in collaboration with Grupo Social ONCE, served as a dynamic platform for regional changemakers and members of the global Zero Project Network to come together and drive forward the conversation on inclusive employment.

With 400 participants attending in person and over 700 joining online, the conference created a vibrant space for sharing innovative solutions, exploring corporate strategies, and advancing accessibility and inclusion in the workplace. Discussions ranged from building safe and inclusive work environments to entrepreneurship and the power of cross-sector collaboration.

In a highlight of the event, Fundación Descúbreme announced the Descúbreme Scaling Solutions Grant 2025, which will bring the award-winning project Happybots to Chile — a social robot designed to support emotional expression in persons with disabilities.

The event concluded with a message from Carola Rubia, Executive Director of Fundación Descúbreme, who officially announced the opening of the Zero Project Call for Nominations 2026, inviting innovative and impactful solutions to participate starting May 19.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants, partners, and speakers who helped make the conference a success.
