In 2020 the Argentine social enterprise Incluyeme.com launched Desarrolla Tu Futuro, a training programme in technical, vocational, and soft skills, available online and free of charge. It targets people of working age with any type of disability, prioritizing women and migrants. In addition, Incluyeme.com works with more than 700 companies that support its participants. Between 2020 and 2024, more than 4,000 people from 14 Latin American countries participated, and 518 were employed.

Problems Targeted

People with disabilities in Latin America face social and labour exclusion and limited educational opportunities. Training in high-demand technological skills is often costly and inaccessible to them.

Solution, Innovation and Impact

Incluyeme.com, a social enterprise active in 14 Latin American countries, is a leading platform for the employment and training of people with disabilities. Its Desarrolla Tu Futuro (Develop Your Future) programme enhances employability through technological and vocational training, focusing particularly on women and Venezuelan migrants. Bootcamps are held several times a year, each comprised of about 30 people with disabilities, all of whom receive scholarships. These virtual courses last one to three months and include technical skills, soft skills such as interview preparation and CV writing, and ongoing mentoring. With over 700 business partnerships, Incluyeme.com collaborates with companies to develop course content and offer support. Courses are certified by the Universidad Tecnologica Nacional – Facultad Regional Buenos Aires, ensuring regional recognition and validity. Between 2020 and 2024 over 4,000 people with disabilities participated, including more than half women and non-binary individuals and 209 Venezuelan migrants from 14 countries in Latin America.

Funding, Outlook and Transferability

Desarrolla Tu Futuro is funded by grants from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, IDB Lab, the Canadian Government, Google, and a partnership of Palladium and Kyeema Foundation, totaling $1.3 million. Additional contributions come from Incluyeme.com and companies that fund scholarships and provide programmes. There are plans to expand the programme to target older populations and entrepreneurship initiatives. (Zero Project Awardee 2025)
