Deepak Raj Sapkota is currently the Executive Director of Karuna Foundation in Nepal. Prior to his current role, he was the Country Director of Karuna Foundation INGO for eight years. He also served as a chairperson of the Association of INGO's in Nepal during the year 2014-2015. He has also worked for Nepalese Children's Organizations for eight years and was appointed to be the Executive Director for five years of the Central Child Welfare Board, a statutory body for child welfare in Nepal, by the Council of Ministers of Nepal. Mr. Sapkota’s experience and expertise lies in childhood disability prevention, community based rehabilitation, insurance, and inclusive development in a holistic and sustainable manner.
