Increasing impact through partnerships

Over the past decade, the Zero Project has built a global network of persons and organizations, all working towards the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).

Building on its foundational work of researching innovative solutions, the Zero Project collaborates with dedicated partners on specific intiatives and programmes, in order to augment its scope of impact and support Zero Project Awardees.

Organizations that seek to formally partner with the Zero Project do so via the Zero Project Scaling Solutions Programme: by joining as a partner, they actively support the replication of innovative solutions in their respective fields of expertise or country.

  • Transfer of solutions to new regions and countries

    Zero Project Scaling Solutions

    Zero Project Scaling Solutions is a joint initiative of the Zero Project, Fundación Descúbreme, GIZ, Atos, EnAble India, and Inclusive Creation to support the transfer of outstanding solutions for disability inclusion to new countries and regions. 15 “Scaling Fellows” are selected to join the programme for the 2024/2025 cycle.

  • ICT solutions pitch to potential investors and partners

    Zero Project Technology Forum

    The Zero Project Technology Forum is an exclusive in-person event in the lead-up to the annual Zero Project Conference that sees select ICT solutions pitch to potential investors and partners, such as Tata Consulting, Sightsavers, World Bank, and WHO amongst others. The Forum is supported by a consortium of partners: UniCredit Bank Austria, Google, Microsoft, and The Seneca Trust.

Building bridges between the global network and regional innovators

The Zero Project regionalizes its activities to important world regions outside Europe, with the goal of building bridges between the global disability inclusion community and regional innovation ecosystems.

Removing barriers through Inclusive Arts

In 2024, the Zero Project Inclusive Arts has been created as a new thematic chapter. Its goal is to support innovative forms of art and expression worldwide that allow people with disabilities to actively participate in the arts and realize their full potential. The Essl Foundation and its founder Martin Essl also have a track record of supporting inclusive art projects through special programmes.
