Dr. Medjeral-Mills is the Executive Director of Disabled People’s Association (DPA), which is a Singapore based non-profit advocacy organisation. DPA’s mission is to be the voice of persons with disabilities, working with them to achieve full participation and equal status in the society through independent living. As part of her work at the DPA, Dr. Medjeral-Mills has been involved in the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the Enabling Masterplans (the national policy to implement the CRPD). She regularly meets with Government agencies and other disability organisations to give feedback on the policies designed to realise the goals of CRPD. Through DPA, she has also initiated workshops designed to help companies, schools and higher education institutions and other non-profit organisations to be more inclusive in their programmes, services and human resource policies.
