If the term web-accessibility pops up in your newsfeed more often these days, it’s not a coincidence. And while it has become a buzzword by now, it isn’t always clear what it means in practice. How does it relate to your business, and what do you need to do to make your products and services accessible? Will it pay off? And what is this new EU-Directive all about? We asked Werner Rosenberger, Certified Web Accessibility Expert at the Austrian Association in Support of the Blind and Visually Impaired and Project Manager for the Web Accessibility Certificate Austria (WACA), to bring us up to speed on the status of web-accessibility in Europe, and how businesses can reap the benefits of creating products and services for all.
