On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Zero Project shared the 2026 award winners.

This year's award winners:

  • 75 new solutions
  • 7 arts projects
  • From 51 countries

These projects help people with disabilities live better, safer, and more equal lives.
More than 400 people from around the world helped choose the winners. They looked at all the ideas and projects carefully.

What are the projects about?

They focus on:

  • Accessibility – making places and services easy to use
  • Technology – tools to help people communicate and move
  • Crisis support – helping people in emergencies
  • Arts – museums, shows, and festivals that include everyone

Zero Project Conference 2026

All award winners are invited to the conference.
They can show their projects to people from around the world.
The goal is to share the projects with as many people as possible, so more people can use and benefit from them.

The conference will be in Vienna from 18–20 February 2026.
Some sessions will be online with captions and sign language.
In-person places are by invitation only.
