The Zero Project Social Indicators measure the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD). The survey was done by the Zero Project in partnership with DPI and many other partner organizations worldwide every year between 2010 and 2018, in 2018/2019 no new survey was organized.
The Zero Project’s Social Indicators were based on questionnaires that were completed by experts who assessed the implementation of the UN CRPD in their own country to the best of their knowledge. They were conducted each year since 2010, the survey consisted of questions designed to focus on concrete implementation of the most important rights granted by the UN CRPD, as stated in its Articles, and augmented the work done by many authorities, statistics departments, and international organizations.
