                From 2008 to June 2012, People First NZ ran an employment advocacy service, Works4Us, to assist disabled workers to understand their employment rights and in issues of employment.                 Business disability network connecting students with disabilities to paid internships

                The programme matches students with employers based on location, degree, career goals, and skills. Companies commit to a minimum of 152 hours of paid work. Launched in 2005, by 2020 the Stepping Into programme is available across seven states and has facilitated 1,478 paid internships.

                Government-produced model toolkit for accessible websites and online content

                The Online Accessibility Toolkit, published by the regional gonverment of Southern Australia, is a free and publicly available set of tools for making websites and online solutions more accessible and inclusive. The toolkit contains eight topics and was designed in consultation with people with disabilities.

                UEB Online allows anyone who is interested in using Braille for information and communication to learn Unified English Braille Code – online, free of charge and at individual pace.                 Scytl developed the iVote Core Voting System for New South Wales, Australia. By using a web-based platform or via a phone using the keypad blind voters and people with disabilities to vote online. Around 286,000 voters used the system in 2015, and it has been replicated in Western Australia as of 2017.
