Awardee of the Day:

Young Power in Social Action, Bangladesh

Zero Project Awardee of the Day Young Power in Social Action (YPSA), a national NGO from #Bangladesh, built an accessible e-learning centre for visually impaired students at the University of Chittagong in 2019.
It is equipped with accessible learning material and has two dedicated volunteer groups. 60 visually impaired students have received ICT-based skill development training as of 2021.

While still in its pilot phase, two other universities will now also be developing an inclusive e-resource centre, funded by the A K Khan Foundation, a local foundation, and in cooperation with the Bangladesh Government.

Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) is one of 76 Zero Project Awardees from 35 countries that will be recognized at #ZeroCon22 in February for their proven and impactful commitment to remove barriers for all.
