Awardee of the Day:

Project Sambhav, India

Children with disabilities in rural and low-income communities often don't have access to Community-Based Rehablilitation (CBR) or other health services, due to a lack of trained personnel and limited infrastructure.
Zero Project Awardee of the Day Jan Vikas Samiti is an NGO based in Uttar Pradesh, India. Through their Project Sambhav, they provide CBR services to rural children with developmental disabilities. In 2021, more than 700 children used the service!
Project Sambhav works with 19 grassroots organizations. Their facilitators use a web portal and smartphone app to deliver e-health support, mainly by sharing pictures and videos, making services quick and cost-efficient, as well as dramatically reducing the need to travel.
Watch today's #CountdownToZero video to see the facilitators at work!
Zero Project Awardees come from all sectors of society – civil society, public sector, and private sector. They will be recognized at #ZeroCon22 for their proven committment to create and improve accessibility for all.
