Announcement of the Zero Project Awardees 2022


The Zero Project has announced the Zero Project Awardees 2022 centered around accessibility, this year´s research topic. 76 Innovative Practices and Policies from 35 countries will receive the Zero Project Award at the Zero Project Conference 2022 in Vienna, Austria.

Facts and figures about this year´s Awardees
The 76 Awardees come from 35 different countries and from all continents, with Europe (31 Awardees), followed by Asia & Pacific (22), Latin America & Caribbean (10), North America (7), Africa (4), and Australia & Oceania (2).
The countries with the highest numbers of Awardees are Spain and the United Kingdom (7 each), the United States (6), India and Israel (5 each), Brazil, France, and Indonesia (4 each).
31 Awardees come from civil society, 16 from the business sector, 9 from the public sector, and 20 are mainly ICT-based approaches.
