The first-ever webinar of the Equitable AI Alliance, hosted by David Banes and Nakul Gaur (Unilever), explored how AI is shaping inclusive workplaces for people with disabilities.

The Zero Project Call for Nominations 2026 (#ZeroCall26) has come to a close. The focus topics of this cycle were Accessibility, ICT, and Crisis Response. A record-breaking 586 nominations from 93 countries worldwide were submitted for the Zero Project Awards 2026.

Forbes has published its first-ever "Accessibility 100" list, highlighting the innovators and impact-makers. The Zero Project has served on the advisory board over the past few months, supporting the initiative by providing feedback and identifying candidates from around the world.

At this year’s COSP18 conference, Senior Advisor and Zero Project Ambassador Tom Butcher represented the Zero Project. He moderated the side event called “From awareness to action: ensuring climate and crisis response that works for all”. The Zero Project team attended the Inclusive Africa Conference 2025 from June 3–5. Hosted by inABLE, this event is the largest conference on disability and digital inclusion in Africa. Since its inception in 2020, the conference has played a vital role in advancing digital accessibility and assistive technologies for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
