The Zero Project is delighted to announce that on September 30, 2025 a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Ghada Waly, Director General/Executive Director of UNOV/UNODC, and Martin Essl, Founder of the Essl Foundation. Its purpose is to further strengthen this partnership and to build on shared achievements.

Singapore at the Center of Disability Innovation and Inclusion

From September 17–19, Singapore became a global hub for disability innovation and inclusion as the Zero Project International Delegation brought more than 45 delegates from over 20 countries to three landmark events. Together with SG Enable, UnExcluded and the ILO Global Business and Disability Network, the week connected global expertise with regional action, showcasing how accessibility innovation can shape more inclusive futures.

163 innovative solutions from 68 countries across six continents have been shortlisted for the Zero Project Awards 2026. In addition, 13 inclusive arts initiatives have been shortlisted for the inaugural cohort of Zero Project Arts Awardees. This year’s Call for Nominations (#ZeroCall26) focused on the themes of Accessibility, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Crisis Response.
