On the 27th and 28th of September 2013, the Zero Project will be represented at the International Conference “Employment of Persons with Disabilities: Raising Awareness & Employment Opportunities”. The Conference is organised by the EASPD and the Ministry of Family and Social Policy of Turkey, in cooperation with the Turkish Public Employment Agency, the RACE Consortium and the Dolunay Association and supported by the Council of Europe and the European Commission. Its main aim is to exchange best practices and identify possible future steps to enable more persons with disabilities to take part in the work place.
The discussion will focus on the current situation of the employment and will tackle the main issues and obstacles that need to be overcome, in a dialogue between persons with disabilities, representatives of employees and employers, policy-makers, authorities and support-providers. At a stand on the market place, the Zero Project will provide materials, information about its work and research in the afternoon of the 28th of September.
