Nominations for the Holman Prize are less than two months away, so this is your advanced warning to get your ideas together!
The Holman Prize helps legally blind people from around their world in making their dreams a reality, and to demonstrate to the public that in an accessible world, blind people are capable of doing anything that their sighted peers can do.
Winners from last year include Ahmet Ustunel who is training to kayak Turkey’s Bosphorous Strait, completely solo; Penny Melville-Brown who is taking her YouTube baking show to six continents and Ojok Simon who is teaching his fellow Ugandan’s to become self-sustaining beekeepers.
The application process opens on 16th January, so get preparing your 90 second YouTube application video!
