To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) the Brazilian State Secretariat for the Rights of the Person with Disability (SEDPcD) holds an international edition of the award entitled Global Recognition “Good Practices for Employees with Disability”.

The goal of the award is to identify and highlight the good practices for inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labor market, publicly recognizing the successful initiatives of companies that are positive examples in this important challenge of building inclusive companies, designed for all. These organizations are awarded symbolically with a trophy, and valued for their investments and strategies used to include, in an ethical and responsible manner, disabled professionals in its staff. It is an excellent opportunity for them to become more attractive to the best talents and to become a reference for other companies.

The deadline for presenting candidates is September 30 2016.

A ceremony of the recognition will take place on December 2nd, 2016, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
