Article 49 prescribes that “The text of the present Convention shall be made available in accessible formats”.
This question asks whether, in each of the countries surveyed, the Convention is accessible in all the official languages of that country in three accessible formats.
Results on UN CRPD related issues are not very encouraging.
EU countries are doing comparatively best with multimedia versions of the UN CRPD. Nevertheless, accessible versions of the CRPD are not readily available everywhere. Only 14 countries of 130 answered with a clear yes to the question.
